Starting out over 40 years ago as a family-run business based in East Anglia, Surfacing UK has grown to be a nationwide surfacing contractor specialising in tarmac, asphalt and tar and chip surface installation with a number of subsidiary brands.

What's The Story Behind Surfacing UK?
Founded by Gary Brown in 2024, Surfacing UK is the culmination of over 40 years of work across multiple generations in the surfacing industry.
His father, also named Gary, started his first company back in the 1980s, and – after the younger Gary joined the business back in 1999 – the Brown family have gone on to lay 1,000s surfaces up and down the country ever since. Their particular focus initially was on their neck of the woods in East Anglia, transforming the appeal of thousands of properties, and leaving satisfied customers in their wake.
Surfacing UK was founded with the mission of bringing Gary’s team’s specialised surfacing skills to you, wherever in the country you are, and whatever your project is. His team can bring their extensive experience to bear on a wide variety of projects, from small car parks, to large industrial estates, byroads to highways, across the UK.
